Duke Street Community House conduct a range of leisure courses.
Gentle Exercise
Classes are aimed at people who wish to exercise but don’t
know where to start. The class will contain a range of low
impact and stretching exercises that will help you on your
way to a healthier lifestyle. Seniors are particularly encouraged
to try this class.
Classes finish with a relaxing cuppa and chat. If you haven’t
done any exercise in the past this is the class for you!
Term Dates: Friday, at 10.00 am
Cost: $3 per week
(classes are held at the Sunshine Presbyterian Hall Anderson Rd
Sunshine)
Walking Group
Do you want to walk your way into better fitness?
Come along to the Duke Street Walking Group. This group
meets each Wednesday for a 40 – 45 minute walk around
our local neighbourhood.
The walks start at Duke Street Community House and we
finish at the house for a cuppa and chat. Each term the
group goes on an excursion to a location such as Brimbank
Park, Williamstown, Cherry Lake etc.
Cost: $2.00 per week
