COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
I hope you’re well and staying safe as we move through these unprecedented times together. The situation is changing rapidly, so we have created frequently asked questions (FAQ) to help address common concerns. As new information becomes available, a new FAQ will be uploaded.

When will Duke Street re-open?
At this stage Duke Street will remain closed to the public until restrictions are lifted by the State Government. Whilst we have physically closed our doors we will continue to support our community remotely. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us if you or someone you know needs support by emailing our Community Development Officer Kat Day:Kat.Day@dsch.org.au

We are available for chats and can provide referrals to other organisations that might be able to help you during this time.

What is happening with Duke Street’s Occasional Child Care program?
Our Occasional Child Care program is open for permitted workers and vulnerable children. We have implemented a range of additional procedures to ensure that our centre is maintaining health and safety standards and social distancing directives whilst still providing this much needed service (including temperature testing before the child enters the program, additional cleaning, training for staff, new programming etc). For any additional information, please contact Brigid.jackson@dsch.org.au

What is happening with Duke Street’s Education program?
All of our courses are now available online. If you would like to enroll in one of our programs please email education@dsch.org.au
