Duke St Community House have been redesigning and updating their web page to take advantage of the interactive abilities of Web 2.0. As part of this redesign we have changed our web address to make it easier to remember. We have changed it from dukestcommunityhouse.org to www.dsch.org.au Some people have been getting a bit confused with the new email address because when they type in the new web address they leave out the .au on the end. The Community Kitchen Café is a joint project between Sunshine Presbyterian Church and Duke Street Community House. The project came about through a desire by both organisations to connect with people who live in our local community including those who are socially isolated or are new to Brimbank. The café is staffed by a team of volunteers who prepare and serve the meals. These volunteers have completed an accredited food safety course and are also involved in tasks such as shopping, menu planning and other general kitchen duties.Read more
